Safety and Supervision
All GAEP programs operate within structured and supervised environments that prioritize student safety, accountability, and well-being.
Programs are supported by institution-designated chaperones with clear oversight and defined expectations throughout.
Safeguarding measures include:
- School-endorsed participation
- Teacher-led supervision during travel
- Conservative student-to-chaperone ratios
- Approved group accommodation
- Structured daily schedules
- Pre-departure orientation
- Clearly communicated conduct expectations
All participants are required to maintain comprehensive travel medical coverage for the duration of the program.
